President’s Welcome Message

Jeff Krushell
The Human Sports Performance® (HSP) project was born with the research of Dr. Ann de Wees Allen, which spans a 25-year period, and gave rise to a completely new understanding of human biochemistry.

As Dr. Allen’s research progressed, the art of human biochemistry combined with biological circuitry, made its way from the medical arena to that of sports, and there began a new era in the quest to maximize human performance.

Today, as we have a better understanding of the mechanisms behind human sports physiology, the impact of combining the science of athlete development, with that of human biochemistry and brain-circuitry, has created performance potentials like never before.

The Beijing Olympics are a very good example of the advancement in sports physiology and nutrition, as more world records were broken in the 2009 Olympiad than any previous games, especially in an era where drug testing is at an all time high.

There is a down side to the exciting scientific advancements being made in the sports industry, which consists of the rapid spread of high tech ignorance. Simply put, the public does not have access to the latest research arising from sports performance science, and therefore does not have the benefit of incorporating the latest technology into their programs.

The goal of Human Sports Performance® is to eradicate the rapid spread of high tech ignorance, by striving to educate coaches, trainers, and athletes of the recent advances in sports performance research.

At Human Sports Performance®, we understand the confusion and frustration surrounding the industry, just as we understand why athletes can turn to drugs and banned substances; they simply do not know what to do in order to reach their ultimate goals.

The team at Human Sports Performance® has a deep understanding regarding the discrepancies in ideologies of performance training. There is always some new gimmick or sports program arising that claims to be the answer to achieving maximum performance. But, in the long-run, gimmicks do not work. Hard-core research and science in the sports arena is the foundation of personal development for athletes.

It is this research and science that provides the building blocks for achieving individual greatness in sports.

The true dangers in the nutritional supplement industry do exist, and represent a real threat to every athlete. The current plethora of misinformation and false advertising is largely un-policed, due to the inability of the FDA and FTC to catch every single violator, and to prosecute them in a timely manner. The public is largely unaware of the uncontrolled amount of data being disseminated, and the open access to illegal and banned substances that are available to any athlete.

The Human Sports Performance® philosophy is based on helping athletes achieve their goals by bridging the gap between the latest sport research, and its application in the real world.

By utilizing the latest technologies in the fields of human biochemistry and physiology, and by providing input and guidance in the realm of sport nutrition, sports supplementation and high performance training, the Human Sports Performance® programs has created new avenues in sports, and has made these methodologies available to athletes, parents and coaches alike, through our educational programs.

Keep in mind, Luck is the Residue of Design. By designing a successful program based on cutting-edge technology, athletes and coaches can circumvent the misconceptions that currently control the sports industry, and focus on programs that provide access to technologies in achieving drug-free human maximum performance.
